CONSULTATION
We will schedule a time to meet you at your home or at the project site to gain a better understanding of your vision. We will walk through the space to discuss your project in full detail and identify the overall scope of work. This initial consultation will give us the opportunity to evaluate your needs & budget, and also help you understand our Design-Build process. Following our initial meeting, we will draft a proposal that, upon approval, will allow us to move forward with the architectural and interior design stages of your project.
Architectural Design
During the initial design meetings, we work with you to gain full knowledge of your vision in terms of functionality and aesthetics. Always keeping your vision in mind, our team will also make educated recommendations on optional products and architectural features that may be utilized to achieve these goals. We will use this information to draft an architectural set of plans that will be used to bring your vision to life. On occasion, this will include multiple options to choose from as we would like to know that you have made an informed decision based on all of the different possibilities. Once the architectural design has been perfected and finalized our architect will work with the engineers and surveyors to produce a construction set of drawings that we will submit to the city planning department for permitting.
FINISH SELECTION
Selection of interior finishes will be an ongoing process throughout the duration of your project. Initially, we would like to view any photos, boards, or preliminary planning materials that you’ve accumulated to understand your design style and functional design needs. We will also make our own recommendations, to ultimately assemble a preliminary finish package that we will present to you for approval. We realize that as your project evolves, finish selections may change, and schedules may need to be adjusted. This is to be expected, and our designers will work with you every step of the way to select finishes that will be used to create the sophisticated, inviting space that you’ve envisioned. We will thoroughly address every material used to construct your space, from cabinetry, paint, and tile, to walls, flooring, and plumbing fixtures. We will also work with you through the selection of finishes for exterior and landscape for complete whole house renovations.
CONSTRUCTION
After our team obtains permits from the planning department, construction gets underway immediately. Our team will strategically plan and layout your project timeline for our self-performing crew, as well as our partner subcontractors onsite. Throughout the duration of your project, our management team will control the relationship between the contract budget and the schedule. Constant communication and regular meetings will take place to ensure that all parties involved with your project are on the same page as various aspects of the project evolve.
POST CONSTRUCTION
When construction is complete, we will perform a final walk through with you to address and discuss all aspects of the project, and your wonderful new, upgraded space. We will assemble a collection of product manuals, system operation instructions, emergency shutdown procedures, maintenance requirements, warranty policies, and anything else that you may need for future reference.
